tenure at Anheuser‐Busch, the company was ranked first in the beverage industry for social and environmental sustainability in FORTUNE magazine.
Pete Leavitt was an early pioneer in the craft brewing industry. Starting his career in Berkeley, CA in 1988, Pete went on to graduate from the Siebel Institute of Brewing Technology in 1991. Working as a Brewery Consultant, Pete helped open breweries in Colorado, Oregon, and Maine. As a Partner in Atlantic Brewing Systems Pete oversaw the design, fabrication and installation of breweries in Russia. By 1999 Pete was Brewmaster for 3 brewpubs and a contract brewing facility. Today Pete owns and operates two retail food stores in Maine, and is a strong supporter of the local craft brewing scene.
